Learn about Florida’s resident and migratory seabirds, their habitats, and threats these birds face.  We will also discuss how seabirds serve as sentinels of the ocean and its resources, and how studying these populations can help us understand our marine environments.


Presenter: Taylor Ozimek works with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) studying imperiled and declining species in southern Florida. Taylor has a bachelor's degree in Fisheries, Wildlife, and Conservation Sciences from Oregon State University.
