About The Event

Learn about the biology, behavior, and role of coyotes in Florida’s ecosystems. We will also answer questions about how to coexist with these highly adaptable animals and address how to identify, prevent, and resolve potential human-wildlife conflicts.


Austin Peek is a Wildlife Assistance Biologist for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. In this role he works to prevent and resolve human-wildlife conflicts for a variety of Florida native wildlife. He has earned a Bachelors degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in Environmental Conservation and a Masters degree in Wildlife Forensics from the University of Florida.
